The Maswa Reserve is close to the Mwiba Reserve and shares borders with the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, an advantageous position for some of the very best game viewing in Tanzania. Game drives through Maswa reveal a landscape of vast plains dotted with shade trees. Grazers and predators alike can be spotted on explorations and the expert guides provide insight into their habits on up-close walks through the bush. In the evenings, return to camp for a fireside meal and recount the adventures of the day with fellow travelers.

Since Subeti Tented Camp is located on its own private reserve, Maswa Kimali, guests will indeed have their entire safari experience in private, shared only with the other guests at camp and not crowds of other safari-goers. There are three tents in total, and each group will enjoy exclusive access to their own game vehicle and guide, allowing for a completely custom safari adventure.

Subeti is available for private use as well, booking at minimum six guests with the flexibility to add more tents to accommodate as many as 16 guests. This outstanding level of personalization and exclusivity makes this classic tented camp a top choice for families and groups on safari together.

Luxury Tents:

The tents themselves are certain to evoke a feeling of the bygone romance of a safari in the famed Serengeti ecosystem. Crafted of canvas with timber floors and decking, each private en-suite tent is furnished in a sophisticated minimalist style. Muted colors inspired by nature, rattan and wood finishes, and protective mosquito netting lend themselves to a space that is comfortable, functional, and iconic. Each tent has its own private viewing deck with lounge chairs for relaxing and capturing the beauty of the reserve.

Taking advantge of its excellent location guided game drives can be enjoyed not only in the Maswa Kimali Game Reserve but also the neighbouring Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Led by experienced trackers and guides who will endeavour to offer views of the array of wildlife that call reserve home.

Guest visiting the camp can enjoy unlimited game drives during the day and at night, and bush walks with a professional game scout. A bush breakfast and lunch and sundowners can be arranged.
